Having basked in the beauty of Dino Lenny's 'Shoot Me To The Sky', Sapiens is now ready to unleash its next cosmic collection and a label debut from LA based Englishman Eagles & Butterflies. Who better to tell us about the new 'Arpeggiator' EP than the man himself...

"Arpeggiator was originally titled ’14 minutes of Arps’ and its exactly that. Its one of the simplest tracks I’ve ever made with probably only 8 layers that weave in and out the whole way through. I really love the subtleness of this track whilst at the same time it's also a powerful beast!

Oyeme is probably the sound people associate with Eagles & Butterflies. Big marimba melodies, fat sub and rolling hats with a big break. I love this one.
Prophet was originally just an experiment. I had just purchased a Prophet 6 synth. I love the funky bass from the Roland SH101 too and all the parts for this track where recorded in just a few takes live. I was on a roll that day and made two complete tracks in a couple of hours."
